Fetched Pets
|
Dear Fetch-my-pet,
I am so happy! We caught our cat in a live trap this morning baited with
Jack Mackerel. He had been gone for 3 weeks. After my first posting on
Craigslist, someone posted a link to the website fetch-my-pet.com which
contains valuable information about how to go about finding your lost pet. From the information there, I
learned my scaredy, inside cat was hiding and would begin moving about
between the 10th & 20th day. He was spotted on the 19th day! Don't give
up, search the internet for tips and you'll find your pet too!
Thanks for such an
informative site!

Hi,
I got a call today from the humane society
they

thought they had my Shaine. I
immediately contacted my daughter who lives in Vancouver to check and
confirm its her. It was....The human society only had her 30 minutes
when they released her to my daughter...... WooooooHHHoooooo...
Way to go Animal Control they finally caught her. It has been very
difficult living 250 miles away. I was actually finishing up my errands
so I could then leave to make the 5hr. drive back down to Vancouver when
the humane society called me so they saved me a trip down & back because
it just so happens my nephew from down that way in Oregon was planning
to come up today leaving at 4:30pm after work so he will bring her home,
he feels so good about being able to participate for it was his 10th
anniversary and wedding vow renewal we had gone down that way for last
week end so he felt partly responsible I'm sure....Anyhow just wanted
everyone to know that may have emailed me with information. Also, note I
used this website that someone advised people to use on craigslist if
they had lost a cat or dog, they said you should check out this site
www.fetch-my-pet.com so I did, and I contacted Nicole Mabrey with
LOST PET INVESTIGATIONS INC
she was wonderful in coaching me of things to do with the sightings
of my Shaine. I had not hired her yet, I told her I wanted to try myself
over the weekend, but was seriously thinking she was going to be my next
resource. She has been wonderful with her expertise, and advise. I am so
appreciative to finding her and this website. Thank you a thousand
times....
Again Thank You everyone for your heartfelt concerns...
Sincerely,
Linda and Shaine

Found my cat thanks to you!
After a week and a day of
worry I found my cat! Without this site, it wouldn't have happened. A
wonderful lady Cindy of Orlando who also has lost her cat guided me to this
site. I hadn't any idea how or where to go about looking for my indoor cat,
who had simply darted out the door in an instant. I knew nothing about how
the individual pets personality had a likely behavior on what they do when
lost. I had searched the shelter and placed ads, put up flyers. Reading the
advice on this site was absolutely invaluable in my search, and without it,
I don't think I would have understood how to find him. The advice was
absolutely 100% right, he was very nearby, hiding! He's beat up and dirty
and skinny. But he's home now and safe. To anyone else looking for a lost
pet, don't give up and use this site!
Praise,
Patricia

Dear Fetch-My-Pet
I just want to say how great I think this website is. I can't even imagine
how much time and effort went into putting this together. I have been
searching for my cat for six months. So, when I started this site was not
available. I might have my cat back by now if it were available when I
started. I am so glad that you decided to share the information you have
learned as a pet detective so that owners of missing pets might have a
better chance of finding their pet. I go to this website almost daily for
help in my search for my cat. He is still alive and well so, I will keep up
my search and I will keep coming back here for information. Thank for your
time, energy, and generosity!

I think it is great that there
is some place on the internet for lost animals. Mine was found safe and
sound after being lost for 3 days. Even though someone had posted her
picture in the grocery store, it was nice to be able to get the word out
that she was lost. I also appreciated that fact that you called to check on
my dog. Thank you so much.

Dear Fetch-my-pet,
Your website was a God send to us!! We lost our recently adopted
Min-Pin/Chihuahua mix, Suzie-Q Saturday, 06/07/08 and found her to the
day,
06/14/08...she stayed thankfully within a 2 mile radius based on sitings
from the extensive postering and notices we put up, not to mention
active
searching, meeting and greeting of businesses and residents in the area
who
were so gracious to help. I was positive she would be found, especially
using your tips and techniques!! I am an animal Reiki practitioner and
was
sending energy to her constantly as well as my group. Thank you from
the
bottom of my heart!

Dear Millie,
I was calling and calling outside the patio door this morning, as I have
been doing for 11 days, just at daybreak and dusk and any other chance I
got, and I was about to stop when I decided to call once more, when I
thought I heard an answering mew. I thought it was probably just a cat
bird again. I've been fooled before. But I kept calling and the mews
kept getting closer until I recognized his voice and saw his feet under
the fence. I was only wearing a Grand Canyon t-shirt, and I mean that's
all I was wearing, but I ran out the door and opened the gate and I
don't know if I swept him up or he leapt into my arms, but HE'S HOME!
I gave him every sort of food I had on offer, and he gobbled up a whole
can of Fancy Feast. It's not a lot, but it's a lot for him; he's a
nibbler. He looks good. He's always been slim, and is quite a bit
thinner. I can feel his backbone. But No cuts or any other wounds that I
can see. He's maybe a little dusty but no real significant mud or
anything, considering that torrential downpour we had last weekend, and
the intermittent rain and low temperatures.
I've been following every lead and doing everything mentioned on your
website.
He's home!
Thank you and bless you,
Jo in Newark, Delaware

Hi,
I came across your website through fetch-my-pet.com which I heard of
from someone who saw my ad on craigslist and e-mailed me about it.
When I got that e-mail I thought it was form someone who had
information about my Snow and got so excited and even though it
wasn't Snow, it was some valuable information.
Anyhow, it was at my house in Hendersonville on Wednesday afternoon
that snow went missing. She has snuck out the door with us before
and when we have realized it she has come home with just a whistle
or two, but not this time. She is a Maltese and is 4 1/2 years old
and about 5 pounds. She has a tag on her collar which lead us to
believe someone may have picked her up and chose not to call or
could not read the number clearly. She was a gift to my sister on
her 13th birthday from a friend who has the father and mother and
did not want to sell the litter. We do not have much to offer as a
reward but we have been writing "reward" on our posters.
Please help us find out Snow, our family is not whole without her!
Thanks so much for your time.
Sincerely,
Ashley H.
Thank you so much for responding, but thankfully Snow was returned
to us today!!! We made large signs on bright posterboard just like
the ones on fetch my pet and they worked! It was a total of 6 days
she was gone but she is home now and we are so happy to be reunited!
Thanks again! - Ashley

Thanks Fetch-My-Pet,
After studying your info I checked my trap once more, and there he
was............The info is excellent. I was planning to spend
tomorrow setting up the buffet, but am happy to be able to stop the
search and sleep well tonight.
